- To celebrate resilience and joy through showcasing the stories of a diverse Utah
- To invest in diverse communities and create opportunities of growth and commerce for Utah’ s Black community
- To highlighight 50+ local Black owned businesses and 15+ local Black artists
- To engage local youth with opportunities for development and the ability to create and have ownership alongside connection to community
- To bring new and exciting cultural programming to Utah's capitol city.
- To connect Utahns to America ’ s diverse history and cultures, bringing Utah’ s diverse communities together to enhance the state's vibrancy through cultural experiences and connections
